Dells actually aren't bad.My sibs own Dells.No problems so far.

Go for HP.Pretty good specs,and pretty reliable.And I think they have pretty good corporate tech support.

awww how sad. I hope you sort this out soon. My internet connection was off over the weekend. Was going crazy with no blogging activity. Eventually had to blog from my blackberry. Didn't know DELL was bad o?

i dunno, I think I'm going through a broke gadgets phase. My microwave's broke, my remote control charger broke, now, me laptop. *sniff*

I have a dell something something...not sure which...and it works just fine...when the screen started showing some funny lines I called them up and they changed it sharpish...

Now it over heats and shuts off.....very annoying..

I have the same laptop (my home one) and it's a bloody joke!

Please Anybody... don't buy it! It's not worth it.
